By using our Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Site.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The only information you actively provide is when you use our contact form. It opens your own email app so you can send us a message, so any name, email or details you include reach us by email.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It may collect standard, aggregated information such as:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Approximate location and IP address
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring website URL
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

We also store your theme preference (dark or light) in your browser using localStorage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Games. Our games save a little more, so that a score is still there when you come back. This covers your score and unbeaten run, the round in progress, your chosen opponent, difficulty and first-move settings, and whether you muted the sound. Every one of these keys begins with th4u-gx-, stays in your own browser, contains no name, no account and nothing that identifies you, and is never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or playing in private browsing, removes it.

2.3 Tool Data

Important: Data you enter into our tools (text, numbers, files) is processed entirely in your browser. We do NOT store, transmit or have access to any data you input into our tools. Your data stays on your device.

One exception — SEO tools that analyse a URL. Tools such as the on-page SEO analyzer, broken link checker, HTTP status checker, redirect chain checker, canonical URL checker, hreflang validator, heading structure analyzer, image SEO analyzer, internal link analyzer, schema markup validator and XML sitemap analyzer need to read a page you do not control. Your browser cannot fetch most third-party URLs directly, so these tools first try a direct request. If that is blocked, they retry through a public CORS relay:

  • api.allorigins.win
  • corsproxy.io
  • api.codetabs.com

When a relay is used, the URL you entered and your IP address are visible to that relay operator. We do not run these relays and we do not control their logging. The URL is never sent to us. If a URL is sensitive, do not paste it into these tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to messages you send through our contact form
  • To improve our website, tools and user experience
  • To analyze website traffic and usage patterns
  • To detect and prevent technical issues or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Cookies and Analytics

We do not set our own advertising or tracking cookies. Two things are worth noting:

  • Google Analytics: may set cookies to measure how visitors use the Site
  • Theme preference: saved in your browser using localStorage, not a cookie, and never sent to us
  • Game scores and settings: saved the same way, under keys beginning th4u-gx-, and never sent to us

You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics: Website traffic analysis (Google Privacy Policy)
  • Google Fonts: Serves the Inter typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address (Google Privacy Policy)
  • Public CORS relays (api.allorigins.win, corsproxy.io, api.codetabs.com): used only by the URL-based SEO tools listed in section 2.3, and only when a direct request is blocked. The relay operator sees the URL you entered and your IP address

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and we encourage you to review them. We have no agreement with the relay operators and cannot make commitments on their behalf. The Site may also show advertisement placeholders, but we do not currently run a named third-party ad network.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt-Out: Opt out of analytics using your browser or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on
